If ever there was only one game that proved that video games can be an art-form, Braid would be it. I don't want to spoil any of it but everything from the creative puzzles that make you think outside of the typical platforming box, to the myriad of ways the story and goals can be interpretited (and even applied to the gameplay itself) can teach you a lot of a person or more importantly about yourself.

Yeah, Braid blew me away. It's a shame it's the kind of thing that can only be experienced once.

I couldn't agree more, sometimes you wish more indie gamemakers made it big, there's a lot of gems out there that deserve recognition: Aquaria, Braid, Auditorium, World of Goo, Audiosurf... Just to name a few indie games that have a little place in my heart, and they're all very artistic as well.

It's something I'd been thinking about for the longest time, but largely the problem is the fact that video games are a comercial medium. A bulk of games that I do consider applying the 'art' tag to are often of the free, online variety. They tend to be short and to the point, without the obligation of time or content value.

As far as indie games though, one I'm very excited to see a comercial release of is Cave Story (hense my current featured deviation). Now what would it take to get Yahtzee's games published?

I believe you once faved a stamp of mine.
I think I shall return the favour. XD

Did you know I got all the stars in Braid? I only had to look up how to get two of them, I figured the rest out myself. I felt like Einstein, it was beautiful.
